The Algerian Dead End in Beyoğlu was completely renovated and turned into French Street. For the formation of French Street, all the buildings in the Algiers End were purchased first. Later, as part of the texture works, the appearance of the buildings and the street was changed. With the participation of various experts and artists on the street, gastronomy (food and beverage science) and culture workshops will also be put into service. Hilmi Yavuz with a philosophy and poetry workshop, Yavuz Özkan with a script workshop, Atıf Yılmaz with a cinema workshop, Mehmet Güleryüz and Günseli Kato with a painting workshop, Coşkun Aral with a photography workshop, and Cemil İpekçi with a fashion workshop are some of the names that will take part in the workshop.
French Street, located near the middle of Istiklal Street, behind Galatasaray High School, is a street with an extremely authentic and very nice atmosphere.
